Art

My favorite Phrase is "Art is what you make it" I think I say that with every class I teach. I truly believe that. If it speaks to you, if it expresses you thoughts, if it challenges you, it's art.

As a child I loved art, it's what I have always been told is what I am best at. Originally when I went to college all I wanted to do was art. I knew my parents wouldn't love that as my major, so I majored in Graphic Design. This allowed me to take tons of art classes, art history, 3-D art, and of course computer art. I am so sad now to not offer Graphic Design. Although I enjoy it, I much more enjoy Photography and hand made arts. I wouldn't be able to do what I do without my background so I am not only happy with my degree but proud of it.

Since January I haven't done as much hand made art. But I still thought it would be good for me to tell you I am available for your art needs. I don't have any big current project that I've done. Since I have instead been doing a bit more traveling and photography lately. No regrets there! Traveling and Photography are both so inspiring!

The Jewelry, Classes, and Bottles, are things I always want to remember to tell Brides and Grooms about. I am happy to do classes for Bachelorette's, melt your special bottles after your ceremony, or make custom jewelry for bridesmaids!

This table is one of my more recent projects. It's for sale at my booth at Antique Up.

Both the rooster painting and the coffee cup are fun paintings I enjoyed making. Both Acrylic. The Rooster can be seen right now on the walls at the Silver Coach Restaurant.

I actually feel like the images on this post don't do justice to all that I enjoy. There is so much more I can show. Perhaps I will attempt to do more art blogs in the future. I do post to tumblr about art as much as I can, my site there is www.drawnoutbeauty.com check it out!

Thanks,

Rosalind
