Beth+Joe

April has been a fun filled and busy month! One of our highlights was taking a drive to Madison with Stephanie, who is Dekaios Designs #1 second shooter. Most likely it would be her and I (Rosalind) at your wedding when the day comes. This will be our third (or maybe fourth year already!?) year photographing as a team and we have really nailed down our system. If she can’t be at your event, we have a few more favorites to fill in for her. Don’t worry.

This year our wedding season is kicking of with Stephanie’s cousin getting married. It’s my favorite type of wedding, a backyard wedding in their hometown near Milwaukee. Joe lives a few hours South of Beth, so to get them both up to Stevens Point for the included free engagement session has been a bit complicated. Lucky for them I had to go to Madison for clay and glazes. We were able to work it out to meet there, and along with that Stephanie was able to come too! She crocheted on the drive while we talked. We met for the session, picked up the clay, went to our favorite not in Stevens Point restaurant, Chipotle (why won’t they come to Stevens Point?!??!). And also went to Whole Foods, because, why not? The weather was lovely and all in all it was a great day!

Joe and Beth love games, so we met at the Collectivo coffee shop and started our session there with a game.

They are so cute, and of course not used to the camera in their faces…that’s one of the benefits of the e-session

It was my first time at Collectivo, I often enjoy their coffee, unfortunately during the session there wasn’t much time for that…I’ll be back! Following the sweet photos there, we headed to the capitol. It was refreshing to see green grass there.

Beth changed her outfit and we went in for a few more photos inside. Being in Madison is always exciting. But taking photos is even more fun, a change of environment always spurs on creativity. And is exciting to see. There are many photos I would love to share but I’ll just keep it to a few of my favorites.

I just love the immensity that is seen here. and Joe and Beth sort of look like a heart. So sweet!

The archway from and their stance. I love it! Joe and Beth really love swing dancing, it was super cute and fun, but hard to really capture in the photos. This was post a dance move I believe.

They were not the serious type, but of course we tried.

Here they are walking into a new life together!
